Staremo in Italia dal dieci settembre al trenta settembre . (We will be in Italy from September 10th to September 30th.) Il nostro volo sarà da Pittsburgh a Minneapolis−Saint Paul poi a Parigi e finalmente a Firenze. (Our flight will be from Pittsburgh to Minneapolis−Saint Paul then to Paris and finally to Florence.) Visiteremo la città di Modena e poi la città di Lucca. (We will visit the city of Modena and then the city of Lucca.) In Modena we will be touring the city for the first time. It’s known for its balsamic vinegar and opera heritage, plus Ferrari and Lamborghini sports cars. It also has the number one rated restaurant in the world. Luciano Pavarotti was born in Modena.

In Lucca we will meet Dow's college friend who is staying a few days. Anche prenderemo una lezione di cucina. (Also we will be taking a cooking class)

Quando in Italia si beve e si mangia bene.(When in Italy one drinks and eats well.)
