Happy Hour at wine bar

We started our walk but had to stop – Piove! (It is raining!) There are clouds after all in Lucca and these clouds are rain clouds.

A few hours later we grabbed a sandwich and ate it on the wall. Didn't want to go too far as the rain could and will return.

Abbiamo visitato il museo di Puccini in Lucca. (We visited the Puccini museum in Lucca.) Puccini was born here and lived with his family here until the death of both parents.  it was rented out in 1884 but bought again by him in 1893 and remained his property and that of his heirs still. Spent most of his time at Torre del Lago after 1901. We met a lady who had hired a driver to take her there - she said it was fascinating - about 15 miles away - maybe next year. For all you Puccini fans we have pictures.

Stopped in a wine bar for a few drinks. Believe it or not they were playing blues and old rock & roll music. Yes, rock & roll lives in Lucca but, only in a few places.

Later had some drinks on the balcony
