Dovè il sole? (Where is the sun?) Our last full day in Lucca. Sad that it is coming to a close. Three weeks in Italy is not enough time. Already planning for next year.

Abbiamo fatto una passeggriata alle mura per l'ultima volta quest'anno. (We walked the wall for the last time this year.) Many athletic activities on the wall and many walkers - they should be in church but……….

Ancore, abbiamo mangato il pranzo alla Bottega di Anna e Leo.(Again, we ate lunch at La Bottega di Anna e Leo). The reason is I saw on their menu that on Sunday they have Grandmother's lasagna. The one thing that I try to order is lasagna as it is nothing like U.S lasagna. I was thinking of all ways to bring it home- fabulous. http://www.labottegadiannaeleo.it

We met Sandy, our friend from Boston. to watch the parade but, no parade - not sure what happened (wrong piazza?) but we went to a wine tasting and watched some entertainers in the piazza - butnot the fencing competition we expected.

Abbiamo mangiato la cena at Da Pasquale. (We ate dinner at Da Pasquale.) Sandy joined us. We had a great meal - not very good but, GREAT.
