Our basket was on time and this morning it included scrambled eggs. We had to get moving as we had an appointment at Musée d'Orsay at 11:30.

Walked to the Metro and took the M1 yellow line to the Concorde stop. Walked to Musée d'Orsay which was through The Tuileries Gardens.

We were prepared so it was no line and easy. This building is beautiful and huge. 5 levels and each level has so much art. We stayed for 3 hours and we could spend 3 days and not see everything. We have displayed a small sample of what was there. It is the 6 th most visited museum in the world, and #2 in France, #1 being the Louvre!

The Musée d'Orsay is a museum in Paris, France, on the Left Bank of the Seine. It is housed in the former Gare d'Orsay, a Beaux-Arts railway station built between 1898 and 1900. The museum holds mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1914, including paintings, sculptures, furniture, and photography.

The artists whose works are displayed includes the artists whose works are displayed includes Berthe Morisot, Claude Monet, Édouard Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Seurat, Sisley, Gauguin et van Gogh .

Took the Metro back to 35 Rue du Lyon (our place). The day was tiring for sure.

Dinner at Au Moulin a Vent, a small restaurant on the left bank and very good. I was about a 25 minute walk each way. Apple maps give you turn by turn directions when walking making it easy to find.
