Dieci settembre giovedì ( September 10 Thursday)

Bel tempo a Lucca (Beautiful weather in Lucca). Abbiamo camminato le mura (We walked the wall). Did some of our walk around the city looking for a restaurant we had seen on the Food Channel - Port Ellen Clan.  Finally found it tucked away with a very small sign.  May try to eat there next week. Since we are eating at Da Pasquale tonight we decided to have a sandwich for lunch. We found a little place tucked away - those tucked away places are always gems. We took the sandwiches home to eat on the patio. We rested in the afternoon as I was a little under the weather. Not sure what it is about. Went to Da Pasquale at night and had a wonderful meal as always. Dow ha preso insalata di pesce e ho preso selezione del cuoco (Dow had fish salad and I had chef's selection) Per secondo Dow ha preso salmone and ho preso stufato di coniglio (Second course Dow had salmon and I had rabbit stew). Night cap on the patio and to bed.
