Seidici settembre mercoledì ( September 16 Wednesday)

We were going to Pisa today but, the threat of rain changed our plans - next year. Abbiamo camminato le mura e abbiamo fatto le spese ( we walked the wall and we did some shopping). Dow ha comprato due borse e ho comprato una cintura (Dow bought two purses and I bought one belt).

Lunch on the patio and some down time.  Dow is reading her 3rd book of the trip.

Siamo andati al ristorante Da Pasquale per la cena (We went to the restaurant Da Pasquale for dinner). As usual the restaurant did not disappoint - Great Meal !!! Before the meal - a glass of prosecco. Then Dow had the seafood salad and I had cream of potatoes and carrots with calamari flambèed in brandy. Dow had the seafood salad the last time we were here and loved it so much she did not speak a word! The cream of potatoes and carrots did not have cream in it. It was blended together until a creamy texture - outstanding.

The owner, Pasquale, offtered us 2 dishes off the menu and we ordered them(Yellowfin tuna and sea bream) Off the charts.

Pasquale offered us some 3 afte rdinner drinks and the best was a 1964 madeira. Dow had mandarin sherbet with prosecco.

This is our last visit here this year so we had our picture taken with Pasquale.
