Ciao,


Piove!  Fa cattivo tempo il tutto giorno. (It is raining.  Bad weather all day.)

Read all the news on the Steelers and the Dan Rooney tribute – sorry we missed it in person but saw it online.


Siamo andati alla Osteria VispaTeresa per il pranzo. (We went to Osteria VispaTeresa for lunch.) Un altro grande pranzo qui. (Another great lunch here.) No water for lunch as there was enough of it outside. Dow had Uova al tartufo nero al tegamino (Eggs and black truffle) and I had Lasagne di ravioli e tortelli allo zafferano (Lasagna with saffron). Second course Dow had Tortelli Lucchesi al ragù and I had Trippa alla Toscana (Tuscan tripe).

Walked to our apartment in the rain again.  When is it going to stop?  There was a break at 4 so we went out and shopped at a little grocery named Tambellini for mortadella for sandwiches. Not sure if they're related, but we do know the family in Pgh came from Lucca. As we walked home it started to rain and continued through the night. Had a “few” nightcaps.
