September 4 and 5

Il nosto volo è stato in tempo e ottimo. (Our flight was on time and excellent.) Abbiamo aspettato per due ore all'aereoporto di Parigi - È facile. (We waited for 2 hours at the Paris Airport - it was easy.)

Il volo a Firenze è stato in tempo. (The flight to Florence was on time.)

Il nosto autista è stata al aereoprto. (Our driver was at the airport.)

lui ha guidato alla villa. (He drove us to the villa). È bella. (It is beautiful.)

Stiamo molto contenti. (We are very happy.)

Stiamo stanchi. (we are tired.)

As we were boarding the plane in Paris a passenger was getting off the plane with the pilot. She had a panicked look and we heard her say the passport fell out of her pocket and she couldn't find it. Here is a teachable moment - when you fly needing a passport always make a copy of your passport in a different location- it can not take the place of the original but to replace it you have all the information for the replacement process. We later learned that she found it. I am sure she lost 5 years of her life. That is a story for a lifetime.

Our villa is something else. Two bedrooms, 2 &1/2 baths, 2 levels and room to have a BIG party. Two balconies over looking the Chianti countryside. The pictures are below.

Went to San Casciano and walked the streets for 45 minutes then ate at Cafè Del Popolano. Back to the villa and crashed.
