Paris

Day 1

Flight was very smooth and on time. We flew premium economy and the seats were bigger, had more legroom and white tablecloths for dinner and breakfast. More expensive but, worth the money. We were not as tired when we arrived and even I had a little nap. Dow watched 1 movie and dozed off and on, and I watched 4 movies but this time I dozed off during a couple of them.  Found the Bus Direct to near our apartment – slow trip due to traffic and construction.  Ugh.

Of course the first thing we did after unpacking is head to the grocery store, which is less than a block away.

We went to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, La Biche Au Bois, which is also close by. Dow had steak with mustard sauce and frites and I had Coq au Vin (Chicken in red wine sauce). Price of €34 included an appetizer before dinner and a cheese tray after then dessert. As good and I remember it from last year. Made reservations for later in the week.
