After a great night's sleep we had some croissants & espresso for breakfast. Janni had to go to work with a breakfast meeting with Luxemburg's Ambassador. The rest of us just hung around trading stories. Tony has so many interesting and educational stories. It is great to be in an atmosphere where he is relaxed.
In the afternoon we walked to the city of Strasbourg and took a boat ride. A great way to see the city and discover history of Strasbourg. After the boat ride on the many canals, we stopped for a bite to eat and of course, Strasbourg's drinks. Stopped at a wine shop for a quick visit to view wine vats and bottles.
Walking back home we met Janni walking the Artie and Wilma. After a quick stop at the apartment where we exchanged our views and comments of the day.
Tony drove us a restaurant in town. Great meal and we tried some pigs' knuckles and more wine. Pictures below. Night cap and recap of the day. Janni and Tony are so in love. They have that magic chemistry between them. Janni has a calming influence on Tony and us. That is why she is a great diplomat representing Norway. More about her job later.
