Ciao dall'Italia  (Hello from Italy)


Il nostro volo รจ stato da Pittsburgh a Atlanta poi a Parigi e finalmente a Firenze. (Our flight was from Pittsburgh to Atlanta then to Paris and finally to Florence.) There was a 45-minute delay leaving Paris due to a plane computer issue. Most of the flights were smooth. A driver picked us up at the airport and then to Il Borgo. We walked to a little village (5 minutes) for some supplies and then a swim. Although we are tired you cannot sleep until the evening because if you take a nap in the afternoon you will not sleep at night.

Dinner at Podere Torricella located on a hill in Chianti. We were on a porch overlooking Chianti. Just a beautiful view accented with very good food. A great ending to a long, long day.
