Ciao da Lucca



Non abbiamo camminato le mura questa mattina. (We didn't walk the wall this morning.) Ancora il tempo fa caldo. (Again the weather it hot.) Siamo andati alla classe di cucina con Ellen e Charlie (We went to a cooking class with Ellen and Charlie.)


I was the same class the Dow and I attended last week, only different dishes were prepared.  There were two other couples there (Class is limited at  8) – one from Australia and one from the Netherlands. For the appetizer we had fresh tomatoes, greens and a “quiche” (forgot what is was in Italian) with zucchini blossoms. The main dish was naked ravioli (gnudi) and risotto, with porcini mushrooms, made without stirring – that is my challenge when I get home.


Dopo, abbiamo camminato le mura . Ci ha fatto ma abbiamo finito la passeggiata. (After, we walked the walls. We were hot but, we completed the walk.


Changed clothes and then our reward – Gelato!


Di notte – patio per vino!
