Ciao da Lucca
Our last full day in Lucca. We are always sad to see this day. I want to thank everyone who followed us. I tried to answer all your questions. To Teresa, our Italian teacher who keeps our blog error free. To Dow, who is the editor-in-chief of this operation. It is time consuming but the finished product is rewarding.
La nostra finale passeggiata per quest'anno. (Our final walk this year.) Ancora molto caldo (Still very hot.) So the new word everyone learned this year is caldo, which means HOT.
Abbiamo mangiato al ristorante Allosteria. Questo ristorante รจ stata buonisomo. (We ate at the restaurant Allosteria. This restaurant is very good.) Presentation was spectacular. It is very near our apartment.
In the afternoon we stopped at the Bread charity market. Purchased some bread to eat with our leftover cheese and meats and wine during the evening.
Flight leaves Florence at 12:10 and we are scheduled to land in Pittsburgh at 11:00pm. I will send you an email when we get home
