Un'altra bella giornata (Another beautiful day).

Our hotel (small only 6 rooms) is very “green” - installations in bathroom for soap and lotion and in shower for shampoo and soap. This gets rid of those plastic bottles that people use or take!!

Glasses and coffee cups in room not plastic or Styrofoam cups.

Intended to go to Pavarotti Opera Theater) but when we walked by a store showing Licorice Liquor!!  Serendipitous!!  We have been looking for this since Sorrento in 2012!!!  Bought that then hit the Market - all flowers plus balsamic vinegars, cheeses etc on Sundays.  We bought some 12 year old and 10 year old balsamic vinegars. After taking all that back to our place we returned for a porchetta panino and a beer (5 euros).

Finalmente siamo arrivati al teatro ma non è aperto! (Finally got to the theater but not open!) Oh well – next year.  Next year for Ferrari Museum also.  So much to see and do these few days.

We're in for the late afternoon as tomorrow is a travel date. Here to Bologna to Florence to Lucca and all by train. Working on the website this afternoon as we are leaving early Monday. Sitting out on balcony enjoying the great weather and of course – wine.

Siamo andati all'Osteria Ruggera per la cena (We went to Osteria Ruggera for dinner.) Dow had orecchiette alla “norma” and then coniglio arrosto (roasted rabbit). I had gnocchi di patate al gorgonzola and filetto aceto balsamico.  Everything was very good. I do not normally eat steak in Italy but, this was great with balsamic vinegar sauce. The rabbit was very tender and hard to do when roasting it.
