Da Luciano a Giacomo! La vita è bella

(From Luciano to Giacomo! Life is great!)

Finalmente siamo qui in Lucca. Ci piacciono Lucca e adesso Modena. (Finally we are here in Lucca. We like Lucca and now Modena.) I took a few pictures outside our window and everything seems the same. After working on the website and having my morning pizza we walked the wall. Every year they have an artist's works displayed on the wall and this year it is the Italian artist Andrea Roggi with theme Terra Mater – Earth and Heaven.

Dow's college friend, Karen, arrives today.

During the afternoon we made reservations at Osteria Rosolo for this evening for us and Dow's friend from those days at Bucknell and her friend, Andrea from Australia. They arrived this afternoon for a couple of days staying at Albergo alla Corte degli Angeli which is close to us. Andrea and Karen have been traveling all over the world together for 30 years, ever since they met in a cooking class in France in 1989. The Osteria was packed and luckily we had reservations. The pasta was cooked perfectly as always and very tasty. I had my tripe which was so good.
