We woke up to rain.  Un altro giorno di pioggia. (Another day of rain.)  Quando si fermerà? (When will it stop?) Stiamo ancora ascoltando la musica del concerto di ieri sera. Così bello. (We are still hearing the music from last night's concert. So beautiful.)



Worked on the website and read the news online. We are still going to walk the wall in between rain drops.



Il sole, il sole, è apparso il bel sole. (The sun, the sun, the beautiful sun appeared.) On a different way to the wall we found another exhibit. You have to remember all these exhibits are made of paper. Abbiamo camminato le mura. (We walked the wall.) It feels good getting some exercise.I took some pictures and we took in the view like as if it was our first day here.



We went to lunch at Canuleia trattoria. It has a pretty garden. Some people were eating inside but, outside  the eating area is covered by a big umbrella so we were not worried. Dow had a shrimp tails salad with basil mayonnaise then fillet of sea bream with tomatoes, olives & herbs on zucchini sauce.



I had roast foie gras served with jam and roasted bread, then Tortelli Lucchesi in bolognese  sauce which I get every year – It reminds me of a little ravioli shop (located in the Zanleoni home) in Barre, Vermont where I grew up. The taste and aroma brings back memories. Sadly, her recipe died with her.



Walked around in the afternoon taking full advantage of the sun. Found another paper exhibit called “the hoodie”.I was located next to a church; suddenly  we heard all this noise of a celebration - it was a wedding that had just ended. Look at the car that the bride and groom were to drive off in. We have seen this before in Italy and it is a joke on the married couple. You would expect a Mercedes. The best man had his pictures with the car so I believe he was the instigator.



Then  we bought some focaccia bread and mini cold pizzas. Also stopped at a bookstore and bought some books. All shops limit how many people allowed inside and everyone must wear a mask. Finished off the night with white wine and bread, meats and cheeses, again.
