Il Sole splende! (The sun shines!) Si, il sole. (Yes, the sun)
It was a lazy day - a chance to get caught up on sleep and rest. We need one if not both of these.
After talking to Katia, Dow contacted the LAMM company via the internet. They give the COVID test that Delta will accept. The appointment is 10:10 am on Monday. They will have the results in 24 hours. Katia will meet us at one of the gates and take us there because it is outside the walls she says. One box checked off.
Right now, our plan next Wednesday is to take the bus to the airport around 8:00am and get to the airport around 8:45am. Our flight to Paris leaves at 12:10pm. Should be plenty of time.
Abbiamo mangiato all' Osteria Da Rosolo. (We ate at Osteria Da Rosolo.) Our favorite waiter (cameriere) gave us the same table (tavolo) we had when we ate there last week! We shared a Trio of crostini with mushroom, chicken liver and tomatoes. Second course Dow had fresh tortelli pasta filled with meat and topped with Bolognese sauce. I had spaghetti carbonara. Ottimo pranzo con vino bianco. (Great lunch with white wine.)
In the afternoon we walked to the wall and read our books.
