OMG – One week to go – ugh! Goes by too fast…

Sera fresca per dormire. (Cool evening to sleep.) No air needed.
Abbiamo lavorato sul sito web questa mattina poi abbiamo camminato le mura. (We worked on the web site this morning then we walked the wall.)
Il pranzo all'Osteria Cantina Bernardini. (Lunch at Osteria Cantina Bernardini.) Seconda volta qui. (Second time here.) Dow had Anchovies fillets with parsley, pan brioche and bufala stracciatella, then Meatballs with rosemary served with scapece zucchini. The meat balls never come with pasta in Italy. I had grilled eggplant millrgruille. carasau bread, feta cheese and mint, then homemade gnocchi, tomato, basil and buffalo mozzarella. Another great meal!
The meal we had yesterday at Osteria da Rosolo had great flavors and is considered country style Italian. They do not spend a lot of time on presentation just old style cooking. Osteria Cantina Bernardini does spend time on their presentation and their food is more upscale but, not necessarily better. Each with great flavors and taste coming from different directions.

Di notte siamo andati al concerto – Puccini e la sua Lucca. (At night we went to the concert - Puccini and his Lucca.) These one hour concerts are held every night of the year at 7PM. We like that time of night! The music of Mozart e Puccini was performed by Soprano: MARTINA BARRECA, Tenore: MATTEO MICHI and Pianoforte: DIEGO FIORINI. Big church and no microphone. They did not need a microphone. Full house! Dow talked to the man next to her - he was from Lucca and is friends with the performers.
